Every year the Tanzania’s National Economic Empowerment Council hold a national forum that brings together both public and private sector entities to discuss on how to enhance economic empowerment among Tanzanians.
During the 7th Economic Empowerment Forum held in Dodoma, the Tanzania Agricultural Development Bank delegate was led by the Director of Finance Dr. Kaanaeli Nnko (PHD) The directorate oversees administration of the Smallholder Credit Guarantee Scheme (SCGS).

SCGS, a special scheme to empowering smallholder farmers forms part of about 7️⃣1️⃣
empowerment schemes. Through SCGS, TADB has forged strategic partnerships with 1️⃣6️⃣ financial institutions including commercial bank, micro-finance and community banks.
SCGS has enabled over 1️⃣6️⃣1️⃣0️⃣0️⃣ smallholder farmers access finance worth TZS 2️⃣0️⃣9️⃣bn for 3️⃣8️⃣ value chains in 2️⃣7️⃣ regions and 127 districts of Tanzania mainland and Zanzibar.
At the Forum TADB met different government and non-government officials.
